Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To be the single point of contact for all-Nepal Outbound logistics planning, freight contracting, and domestic logistics performance monitoring
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products to the domestic customers by effective and efficient Out-bound Logistics operations
  • Ensure 100% compliance of physical inventory with system records

Primary Responsibilities

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Movement of stocks across all offices, dispatch plan, must be updated as per system report
  • Slow moving, near expiry stock must be monitored and reports must be sent to ensure clearance of goods on timely basis.
  • Billing and challan must be always updated to ensure proper information reaches customer thru CRM or as required.
  • Ensure information of outbound goods to respective office for space planning and allocation
  • Sales return to be completed with accounts approval on timely basis
  • Daily dispatch update in Whatsapp/Email must be updated to avoid any delay in communication
  • Pending orders to be updated to respective office for any delay in dispatch
  • 100% matching of physical and system inventory at any cost

Operations

Supply Chain Operational Efficiency

  • Create dispatch plan and Logistics Plans for as per the Demand & Production plans and commitments made to domestic customers after clearance from Domestic Sales
  • Ensure optimal allocation of finished goods from factory warehouse to respective depots as per order placed in CRM/Whatsapp/Email
  • Ensure the materials are dispatched as per the Dispatch plan so that there are no delays to customers
  • Ensure efficiency in inter-unit logistic movements to ensure adequate stock availability at all branches
  • Track and monitor the logistics activities using CRM and Swastik
  • Complete documentation for Logistics for the company

Financial and Control

Supply Chain Costs

  • Ensure cost of outbound logistics is optimized

People Management

  • Comprehensive people management responsibilities, in terms of:
  • Handling Performance Appraisals of subordinates – Set goals, review and manage performance, guide and counsel and provide feedback on performance so as to ensure a motivated and committed team
  • Ensuring high level of employee engagement and retention of key personnel
  • Responsibility for training and counseling of the team along with career planning & development
  • Drive the development of Manpower plans for the team to ensure adequate manpower for the team
