Roles and responsibilities of this job

The HR Manager / Operations Head is responsible for managing both human resource functions and day-to-day plant operations. The role ensures smooth production, workforce management, statutory compliance, safety, and overall operational efficiency while supporting organizational growth and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Manage interviews, onboarding, and training along with payroll data, attendance, leave records, and statutory compliance registers.
Maintain healthy industrial relations by addressing employee grievances and conducting engagement activities to reduce attrition. Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Monitor employee KPIs, conduct appraisals, implement performance improvement plans, and identify training needs to coordinate skill development programs.
Oversee complete production operations of the paper plant, ensuring adherence to daily targets, quality standards, and cost efficiencies while coordinating with production,maintenance, quality control, and logistics teams.
Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce downtime, track machine performance and raw material usage, manage waste, and ensure maintenance schedules are followed by coordinating with concerned departments.
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials and oversee dispatch, logistics, and client delivery schedules.
Supervise overall administration—including transport, security, housekeeping, and canteen—while managing vendor relations, service contracts, and controlling operational expenses.
Other duties as per required and assigned by the Management Team.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s or Master
Experience: Minimum 3 years, preferably up to 5 years

Professional skills: MS package, Software, Communication, Leadership, Problem Solving

Other Specification.

Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, labor law compliance, and MS Office Ability to work on high pressure.
Strong leadership, team management, decision-making, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle HR, IR, and compliance functions in manufacturing environments.
Priority to the one with experience in manufacturing company.
Willingness to travel extensively as required.
