Roles and responsibilities of this job
The Individual Aid Assistant (IA Assistant) will support the IA Cell by reviewing and processing applications for Welfare Pensions, Disability Support Grants, Home Care Allowance, Residential Home placements, and major Hardship Grants, ensuring full compliance with GWT(N) policies. The role maintains accurate IA databases and digital P-files, prepares payment lists and vouchers, updates grant ledgers, and coordinates with AWCs for timely information flow and documentation. The position also assists with major welfare projects, supports efficient utilisation of the IA budget, provides reports as required, and serves as the first point of contact for IA related queries.
