Department: Maintenance / Production / Engineering
Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Manager

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment in the factory. The role ensures smooth production operations, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations while supporting process optimization and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and maintain production machinery and mechanical systems
Monitor daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions promptly
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for factory equipment
Assist in the design and improvement of production processes and machinery
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to machinery, maintenance, and production

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, and production processes
Experience in factory operations, maintenance, or production management preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills

Skills & Competencies

Mechanical system design and troubleshooting
Equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance planning
Process optimization and efficiency improvement
Technical documentation and reporting

Note:

According to the company policy Factory employee will get semi furnished Accommodation however Food will be chargeable if taken in Mess/ Canteen. If they want to cook they can.
As it in factory so employees have to work in shift as required. Other facilities according to the organization policy.
