Sonam Gear is a clothing retailer and manufacturer. We started as one small outlet in 2011, with a pure intention of making Nepal-made clothes for tourists as well as our local customers. 

We are now booming as a retailer with 20 retail outlets across Nepal with at least 200-300 staffs working with Sonam. We produce summer wear such as shorts, t-shirts, windcheaters as well as winter wears suchas down jackets, primaloft, fleece jackets.

Job Description

As the HR Manager at Sonam Gear, you will be the driving force behind the organization's human resources function. You will oversee HR operations, implement best practices, and ensure a positive work culture aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee relations and provide support in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies across all HR practices.
  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems and employee development plans.
  • Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
  • Maintain HR records and manage the HRIS system efficiently.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, including onboarding, offboarding, and succession planning.
  • Promote a healthy and inclusive work environment, ensuring employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify HR needs and deliver customized solutions.
