Roles and responsibilities of this job

Job Summary: HR Associate is responsible to provide administrative and operational support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits coordination.
Offered Salary: Negotiable
Reporting To: HR Manager
Tenure: 2 years (renewable)

Areas of Responsibilities

Coordinate and assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
Oversee the recording, tracking, and approval of employee leaves, including annual, sick, maternity/paternity, and unpaid leaves.
Address any discrepancies or issues related to employee attendance and leave in coordination with supervisors and facility managers.
Prepare and manage official letters, such as offer letters, employment contracts, promotion letters, transfer letters, and termination letters.
Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated accurately and securely.
Administer and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data management and reporting.
Ensure that employee information is updated regularly in the HRIS, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Generate HR-related reports from the HRIS as needed, such as headcount, turnover rates, and training progress.

Professional Pre-requisites

Bachelor’s degree in Management.
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in HR operations, recruitment, or generalist roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with HR software/tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) is preferred.
Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
