Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill the role of HPE Teacher for our lower secondary level students at Springdale English Secondary Boarding School. As an HPE Teacher, you will be responsible for providing students with a well-rounded, comprehensive education in health and physical education.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans for health and physical education classes
Promote and educate students on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Instruct students in various physical activities and team sports
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns
Stay updated on current health and physical education practices and trends

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in health and physical education, or a related field
Teaching certification or license
Previous experience teaching health and physical education to lower secondary level students
Strong knowledge of health and physical education curriculum
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for promoting health and wellness
Ability to work well with colleagues and students
