A dream project of Dawa Sigrist and Sonam Sherpa, Shambaling Hotel is a tribute to their Tibetan heritage.

To fill in a void of a mid-range hotel along with world-class hospitality with a Tibetan touch, they envisioned this project in 2010.

One of Boudha’s first guesthouse used by pilgrims from Tibet, the property dates back to the early seventies. Approximately 20 minutes from the international and domestic airport, the hotel is quietly tucked away from the busy streets and fairly close to the peaceful realms of Buddhist heritage sites.

Two years in the making, the once guest house for pilgrims now houses Shambaling Hotel for the spiritually inclined, where old traditions meet modern amenities.

          Job Description

          • Able to provide a warm welcome and fond farewell to the guests 
          • Greet guest and anticipate their needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently & appropriately to guest concern and requests 
          • Handle all guest complaints in a professional manner 
          • Able to generate the final bill from the POS system and offer to guest for settlement 
          • Able to have a complete understanding of the Front desk Standard Operating Procedures 
          • Must participate in staff's training and briefings
          • Undertaking front desk service duties
          • Administering check-in and check-outs
          • Assigning rooms and issuing keys
          • Delivering mail and messages
          • Processing guest payments and managing bills
          • Coordinating with porters, concierge, kitchen staff and housekeeping
          • Acting as a central source of information for guests during their stay
          • Coordinating third-party services such as tour guides, taxis, airport transfers and rental cars
