GoodWeave seeks Government Relations Consultant candidates who have at least seven years of experience working in government relations, communications, social justice, anti-trafficking, child labour or a similar field. Previous experience working with or in the Government of Nepal (particularly the Ministry of Commerce or Finance or Industry) or at the intersection of export industries and government will be considered a significant advantage. Candidates must demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in collaborationwith colleagues locally and remotely. Skilled communicators and strong networkers with the ability to build a big picture vision by drawing connections among multiple perspectives will be most competitive. The GRC must be conversant in English and have access to a computer and internet access, or must be willing to work from the Nepal GoodWeave Foundation office in Maitidevi, Kathmandu.
