Job Description

This job involves the general check-in/check-out duties, attending to the phone, answering guest queries, coordinating with the housekeeping department, general security of the property and guests and to maintain a high level of customer service for all guests.
The applicant will be provided with formal training in the hotel in order to familiarise with the hotel's operational standards and procedures.
The applicant will then form part of a New Hotel Opening Team which would require them to be flexible in relocating to a franchise or partner hotel in order to train and assist in the opening of the new hotel.
The receptionist is to receive reservations for accommodation and ensure that these reservations have been updated in the computer.
Ensure a smooth and efficient checkin/out process, finalise guests' bills and issue receipts upon payment
Perform cashier duties, perform opening and closing checks
Perform general secretarial duties, such as preparing correspondence and attending to a switchboard (telephone).
Ensure that the guests needs are attended to while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
The applicant will also form a mobile and flexible team called 'Hotel Opening Team'
The applicant would be required to relocate for a short duration to the franchise/partner hotel in order to train and provide assistance in setting up the new hotel franchise.
The applicant will work closely in a team and will be assisted by an operation manager and the Brand's Chief Executive.
The applicant will be based and provide assistance in Kathmandu at Hotel Nana Thamel until the launch of the next Hotel Nana franchise.
