A dream project of Dawa Sigrist and Sonam Sherpa, Shambaling Hotel is a tribute to their Tibetan heritage.

To fill in a void of a mid-range hotel along with world-class hospitality with a Tibetan touch, they envisioned this project in 2010.

One of Boudha’s first guesthouse used by pilgrims from Tibet, the property dates back to the early seventies. Approximately 20 minutes from the international and domestic airport, the hotel is quietly tucked away from the busy streets and fairly close to the peaceful realms of Buddhist heritage sites.

Two years in the making, the once guest house for pilgrims now houses Shambaling Hotel for the spiritually inclined, where old traditions meet modern amenities.

Job Description

  • Timely analysis of Food & Beverage prices in relation to competition
  • Assist in planning regular and special event menu
  • Proficiency in using computer software to monitor inventory and maintaining duty roaster
  • Taking ownership of issues or tasks and also give detail update to Management Team
  • Capable of handling irritate customers with a friendly/calm attitude
  • Hire and train new restaurant's staffs
  • Create & maintain F&B's standard operating procedures
  • Entertainment of potential and existing customers
  • Handle all F&B inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day
  • Completion of monthly inventory
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with food & beverage service
  • Assist in menu planning and pricing by liaising with Management Team
  • Assure bar inventory for functions, including opening and closing inventories and accurate bar summaries are prepared
  • Schedule F&B department meeting among the restaurant team
  • Attendance and participation at department head meeting
