𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 2 years of experience as a Factory Supervisor in Furniture or relevant industry.
Job Description:
- Direct and supervise the team, including assigning tasks, overseeing workflow, check the progress and any leakage that may occur.
- Monitor production schedules and timeline of activities.
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stocks. Inform immediately in case of near shortage.
- Meet production target on time as per required quality.
- Maintain high product quality by implementing and enforcing quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Apply accounting principles to oversee budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
- Monitor expenses, analyze financial data, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Manage weekly carpenters’ payment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct periodic audits, and collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction and efficiency improvements within factory.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety and quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe working space in the factory.
- Take out accurate costing of the furniture ordered.
- Supervise that the ordered furniture matches the furniture build in terms of same size, same color, design and quality.
- Make sure of minimum wastage for greater productivity.
- Procurement: timely manage all necessary raw materials required for production.
- Make sure company logo is well stitched in all products.
- Quality check and deliver furniture only after its quality has been approved. 19. Timely check, safeguard and maintain all machines and machinery items in the factory.
- May have to go along with the team for delivery.
- Will involve heavy lifting when work demands.
- Plan and add additional carpenters and painters if required in accordance with production order.
- Daily, weekly and monthly brief seniors on the expenses, work progress and inventory levels.
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the neighbors around the factory.
- Manage factory waste.
- Supervise the safety of the carpenters.
- Manage Carpenters’ leave requests.
- Timely conduct market research for better raw materials and value for money.
- Conduct timely competitor analysis for opportunity of improvement.
- Maintain the credit line with suppliers and ensure periodic payments to the supplier avoiding delay charge.
- Keep a list of all the suppliers for easy access.
- Keep samples of all running items (most used).
- Perform the duties as required and as advised by the seniors from time to time.
