Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Entertainment Reporter at NEWS24 NEPAL located in Kathmandu. The Entertainment Reporter will be responsible for reporting on various entertainment news topics, writing articles and press releases, and staying up to date with pop culture trends. The role will involve researching, conducting interviews, and generating engaging content for the audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field.
• Min 2 years experience in journalism or reporting, especially in the entertainment field, is preferred.
• Strong reporting and journalism skills
• Ability to write accurate and engaging articles and press releases
• Knowledge of pop culture and entertainment industry
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
•  Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Job Description

• Write and report on breaking news, trends, and events in the entertainment industry.
• Cover celebrity news, movie releases, music events, TV shows, theater productions, and more.
• Conduct interviews media personality, and other entertainment industry professionals.
• Prepare interview questions and ensure thorough research on interview subjects.
• Produce engaging and informative articles, blog posts, and multimedia content.
• Create content for various platforms, including print, online, and social media.
• Attend and report on entertainment events, such as film premieres, award shows, concerts, and festivals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the entertainment industry.
• Conduct background research for stories and interviews.
• Work with editors, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
