Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and versatile Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content across digital, print, promotional, and corporate communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, guidebooks, and other digital platforms.
Develop compelling and informative content for promotional and marketing materials, including dossiers, pamphlets, brochures, newsletters, and social media posts.
Create engaging scripts and written content for promotional videos, campaigns, and marketing activities.
Research and write magazine articles, travel features, destination stories, and industry-related content.
Prepare well-structured and engaging speeches, presentation content, and presentation materials for internal and external events.
Develop content for company presentations, proposals, reports, and other business communication materials.
Prepare event reports, activity reports, and industry-related reports, particularly those connected to the adventure travel and tourism sector.
Conduct research on destinations, adventure activities, travel trends, tourism products, and industry developments to create accurate and engaging content.
Work closely with the marketing, sales, operations, and other relevant teams to understand content requirements and deliver materials within deadlines.

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Age:Less than 25 years

Other Specification

Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong grammar, vocabulary, and proofreading skills.
Strong research, writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
Ability to write in different styles for web, print, social media, promotional, and corporate communication.
Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of digital content and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Himalaya Expeditions is a 40 year old company in adventure travel (trekking, mountain climbing, exploration, etc) with a strong history and legacy.
