About the job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Documentation Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that meets the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. This role requires excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and edit technical and user documentation, including user manuals, how-to guides, release notes, API documentation, and online help content.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand documentation requirements.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and adheres to company standards and guidelines.
Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect changes in product features, functionality, and processes.
Review and proofread documentation created by other team members to ensure consistency and quality.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation templates and style guides.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users to improve documentation quality and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare, or similar software.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Markdown is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
