Job Description

  •  
  • Contribute to managing mass media project activities, including radio, television and online news, planned for project districts and other neighboring districts in close coordination with Kathmandu-based communication officer
  • Work closely with district-based radio stations and their teams to contribute to production of weekly radio magazines
  • Strengthen relationships with district-based journalists and media persons and stakeholders working against sexual and gender-based violence to develop a collaborative working environment for an 'awareness to action' campaign 
  • Support the project team based in Kathmandu in general administration and logistics arrangements in districts for implementation of activities 
  • Coordinate with district-based staff of two consortium partner organizations of Sancharika Samuha to implement district activities designed to generate awareness and increase access to justice, and linking them to mass media
  • Write news reports and feature stories for project's communication channels
