Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a skilled Dairy Production Manager to manage and oversee production processes at our facility in Damak, Jhapa. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of daily production activities in the dairy industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in food production management, a strong understanding of production processes, and prior experience in the dairy sector.Manage daily dairy operations, including pasteurization and packaging processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all plant functions, including processing, cleaning, maintenance, employees, and product quality.
Comply with regulatory requirements concerning food, environmental, and employee safety.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of dairy staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Control expenses, monitor losses, and manage overtime efficiently.
Plan and execute daily processing schedules.
Prepare daily production reports, including costing of every batch.
Oversee inventory management and supply chain logistics, ensuring timely delivery and minimal waste.
Continuously monitor, measure, and improve daily performance; seek training opportunities; and embrace technology to enhance productivity.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Technology, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in dairy production management
Prior experience in the dairy industry is preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
