The Customer and Vendor Relations Officer is responsible for managing relationships with both customers and vendors to ensure seamless operations, timely delivery of products, and high satisfaction levels. This dual-role position serves as a critical link between internal teams, suppliers, and clients, helping drive efficiency, service quality, and business growth.

Vendor Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize costs and efficiency.
Monitor vendor performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and inventory management.
Identify new vendors and sourcing opportunities aligned with business needs.

Customer Handling:

Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally.
Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system regularly.
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to suggest service improvements.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, customer interactions, and procurement details.
Prepare basic reports, summaries, and documentation for management review.

Growth & Support:

Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products to customers.
Support vendor onboarding and client onboarding processes.
Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in customer service, vendor management, or procurement; freshers with strong skills and interest may also apply.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
