The company is mainly involved in construction of buildings and bridges both government and private including commercial complex and health care center along with bridge work. JCPL also enters into Joint Ventures (JVs) with other companies in order to meet the eligibility criteria for different construction projects.

Job Description

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Monitor contract performance and manage contract modifications and amendments.
  • Identify and assess potential risks in contract terms and project execution.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure contract milestones are met.
  • Provide guidance on contractual and commercial matters to project teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contract documentation and correspondence.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status and performance for senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all contract-related activities.
  • Manage and resolve any disputes or claims arising from contract execution.
  • Liaise with legal counsel as necessary to handle complex contract issues.
  • Facilitate amicable resolutions through negotiation and mediation.

Note: Applicants should be experienced in bridge projects and the project location is in Jhapa.
