A reputed College is seeking a proactive, technically skilled, and service-oriented Computer IT Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of the college's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for computer hardware maintenance, network support, software installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT equipment across the College.

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software issues.
Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
Install and update operating systems, application software, and antivirus programs.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other networking devices.
Maintain computer labs, smart classrooms, and other IT facilities.
Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and internet-related issues.
Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and accessories.
Support the operation of CCTV systems, biometric devices, and other IT infrastructure as required.
Perform preventive maintenance and ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems.
Carry out other IT-related duties assigned by the IT Department or Management.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in computer hardware, networking, and IT support.
Sound knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
