Job Description

To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of build sites, including leading and managing crew leaders, workers and future/current homeowners on specific construction tasks
To mentor the workers and also closely supervise them
To provide schedules for the workers and assign tasks to construction laborers
To deliver consistent and high-quality work utilizing industry standard methodologies and materials
To be responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards, as well as keeping detailed records of construction site activities
To coordinate with Project Manager on all sub-contractor scheduling and material ordering
To monitor and supervise sub-contractors on the site
To ensure build site has tools and materials needed for day’s task
To be responsible for taking deliveries of materials and supplies; ensures all tools and materials are maintained and safeguarded
To be directly responsible for the signing off of permits and inspections
Review and offer suggestions to the project manager's schedule and implement with little or minimal direction
To translate blueprints into plans, organizing the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project
