Job Description

Reports To: Tunnel Engineer / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute day-to-day tunnel works including excavation, lining, drainage, and portal works.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, method statements, and safety procedures.
Record daily progress and geological conditions and report to Tunnel Engineer.
Coordinate with survey, geologist, and shotcrete teams to ensure correct installation of supports.
Ensure proper handling of explosives, ventilation, and mucking operations as per safety norms.
Prepare daily progress reports, interim payment certificates (IPC) and assist in quality documentation.
