A well-established and respected business group in Nepal is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) for one of its leading companies in the office automation and business solutions sector. With a strong market presence, trusted supplier partnerships, and decades of industry experience, the company is entering an exciting phase of growth and operational transformation. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-focused leader to drive day-to-day business performance and scale the organization to its next level.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Revenue Expansion
Lead sales growth across corporate, institutional, and dealer channels.
Expand and strengthen dealer/distribution networks nationwide.
Identify new market opportunities and growth strategies.
Improve customer acquisition, retention, and channel productivity.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee end-to-end operations including sales, marketing, supply chain, inventory, and logistics.
Ensure product availability and efficient distribution systems.
Implement strong reporting systems, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
Build a disciplined, metrics-driven operating culture.
Profitability & Financial Performance
Improve margins through pricing discipline and supplier negotiations.
Strengthen receivables management, collections, and working capital cycles.
Drive overall P&L performance and operational efficiency.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and support functions.
Build accountability, productivity, and a high-performance culture.
Upgrade talent capability and succession pipelines.
Strategic Partnerships
Manage key supplier, principal, and partner relationships.
Negotiate commercial terms and strengthen strategic alliances.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in trading, distribution, electronics, IT distribution, office automation, or FMCG sectors.
Proven experience in senior roles such as Business Head, General Manager, Country Manager, Sales Head, or equivalent.
