Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier who will manage daily cash transactions and provide excellent customer service to students, clients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
Receive and process payments from customers in a timely manner.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change for all transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized cash counter and ensure the availability of adequate change at all times.
Keep a record of daily transactions and reconcile them with daily sales.
Uphold customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and handling complaints or inquiries in a professional manner.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all products, promotions, and prices.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Studies, or Business Administration (completed or running).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with the POS system.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Quick learner and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Proven ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
