Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall financial management. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain daily accounts and record entries in the accounting system
Manage and maintain records of loans (term loans, OD/CC, working capital, intercompany loans)
Post journal entries for loan disbursements, repayments, and accruals
Reconcile loan balances with bank statements and lender confirmations
Prepare weekly aging reports (receivable/payable) and handle petty cash & banking transactions
Perform reconciliation of tax ledgers, debtors, creditors, and bank accounts
Assist in the preparation of financial statements (daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Maintain accounting vouchers with proper supporting documents
Ensure compliance with the VAT Act and maintain purchase and sales books
Support senior team members and perform additional tasks as assigned

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (especially Excel)
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
