Job Description

Reporting Line: Senior Manager, Quality

Main Responsibilities:

  • Audit and Compliance: Responsible for conducting internal and external audits as per QA Manager’s plan, ensuring compliance, local regulations, and standards. Conduct audits in raw material storage, brewhouse, and beer process areas, and perform compliance and sensory audits. Enforce adherence to food safety, quality, legal requirements, and pre-requisite programs (PRPs) based on ISO TS 22002-1:2009. Ensure documentation management and control align with company and local standards.
  • Sensory and Quality Analysis: Manage monthly sensory and physiochemical analysis of competitor beers and conduct daily sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediate products, water, and beer as per requirements. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for frequently detected off notes using statistical tools. Develop and train sensory panels, drive sensory projects and ensure timely reporting and communication of sensory results to stakeholders.
  • Traceability and Safety Procedures: Conduct traceability exercises and mock recalls. Coordinate pest control activities and analyze pest data monthly. Support enforcement of golden rule and KAI compliance during production processes (brewing, fermentation, filtration, packaging). Ensure environmental testing such as air, stack emissions, noise levels, and ETP discharge water are performed according to scheduled frequencies.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to downstream employees in line with standards across various departments. Train new and existing sensory panel members to maintain compliance. Support process, microbiology, and packaging teams based on sensory analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement and Support: Support targets along with excellence programs. Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and support data analysis and reporting. Assist in developing documents as needed, and complete all tasks assigned by the QA Head.
