Business Development Manager
Established recently in 2022, Smart Life Company Limited
is in the phase of its startup and growth strategy. Owned by the pioneers in
development sector in Nepal, it is promoting a culture of ethical business
operation in Nepal. Currently the company has identified the investment areas
in real state, Hotel, restaurant, and consultancy sector and in phase of
identifying other potential growth opportunities. To successfully lead the
project intervention, applications are invited for Business Development Manager
based on its Kathmandu office. As senior members of the team, the candidates
will be responsible for leading the overall integrated growth strategy and plan
including the ground operations. Both strategic and operational skills are
important. Proven ability to maintain a “big picture with long run” view while
recognizing the importance of close attention to details. We are looking for
self-starters who can work independently and can multi-task
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Essential) Master’s Degree in Business Administration (desirable)
- 3+ years of experience in a business development role for a master's and 5+ years of experience for a Bachelor's.
- Experience in the Company process, startup business with knowledge of tourism industries and Cooperatives, and saving business a plus
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced digital environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
while finding and developing new markets and improving business investment
portfolios
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Plan, coordinate and manage daily business
operations
- Lead the formulation of company policy, guidelines
and standards and Operating procedures
- Lead Budget preparation, Forecasting, investment
vs return analysis, business proposals and tracking and keeping all cost expenses
record and submit the report to board of directors
- Schedule regular meeting, update current
progress, issues, and overall business plan to management team
- Manage administration, purchases, HR, and
account of the company
- Identify business opportunities, study, and
purpose to management
- Analyze project planning, work on execution of
project, check health and safety in projects and act accordingly
- Analyze the resources requirement and propose
for recruiting potential staffs, partners, and other resources with
alternatives for efficient operations
- Project planning, Budgeting, cost control and
ensuring project profitability
- Coordinate with clients and consultants
- Monitoring overall activities of company
- Initiate, structure, negotiate and close partnership deals
- Build and sustain strong relationships with business decision makers
and internal stakeholders
- Disseminate key learnings to relevant teams and make recommendations
to support future
- Follow up with the investors for timely deposit of their investment
and track their status
- Visit project sites and provide insight and report of the trip to
management with findings and recommendations
