  • Demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork skills and is willing to "roll up the sleeves" and handle any aspect (from administrative to supervisory) of the marketing and client development task at hand to accomplish the job

  • Substantive knowledge of relevant industry trends and developments of relevant business practices and structures is an advantage
  • Open to working with a wide variety of people and in different locations and across different businesses
  • Knowledge in market trends in men’s and women’s fashion as well as electronic goods

Job Description

Kaymu is an online platform that connects buyers and sellers from all over Nepal and facilitates smooth transactions. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and effective business development initiatives to promote Kaymu among prospective sellers apart from maintaining regular communication with the existing ones. You will be working together with fellow marketing team members to achieve Kaymu’s marketing and business development goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying new sellers and convincing sellers to sell online on Kaymu.
  • Training sellers about the basics of how Kaymu works (such as listing fees, delivery, promotions, account management etc).
  • Uploading the products of newly acquired sellers to the Kaymu website.
  • Working together with Category Managers in sourcing products from existing sellers and acquiring new sellers.
  • Sourcing deals at prices lower than the market price.
