Job Description

  • Your first and foremost responsibility is to focus in your assigned target and fulfill it within the given time frame
  • Search new customers starting from your own personal relationship and reach the business houses smoothly
  • Maintain and submit weekly visit report, figures, forecast & any other records which may be required as and when asked by your supervisor/management of the company
  • Making the report, follow up your visited clients for the business dealing
  • Maintain proper records of business solicited and minutely follow-up for renewal of policies.Your prime responsibility is also to retain existing business
  • Carry marketing research as and when required by the company
  • Attend every programs and meetings called by the management of the company
  • Maintain healthy and trustworthy relationship with your valuable clients
  • Engage yourself in effective communication with the coordinators of your prospective clients in order to share your knowledge about insurance, product offerings and understanding their issues/concerns about selling insurance service (if any)
  • Ensure and prove service differentiation through timely settlement of issue raised and timely delivery of policy as envisage in coordination with department head and concerned units
  • Co-ordinate effectively with other department to achieve better customer satisfaction regarding their enquiries
  • approve quotation from your branch authorized underwriter/ Branch In charge and then only share the quotation to your client
  • Ensure that your customer documentation (such as KYC form, proposal form) is complete, documented well as guided by the underwriting manual 
  • Understand the needs of your end customer & provide appropriate product offerings
  • Promptly address all queries on technical insurance issues raised from your customers and branch staff
  • Ensure that all service requirements are met such as inquiries are resolved, claims are settled. Your service to clients does not only end after making up the policy and collecting the premium but shall tie up until the claims are issued and solved in mutual coordination
  • Make the clients aware of materials facts of the insurance such as coverage, exclusions, excess and claim settlement procedure
  • Your daily activities must be reported to your immediate in-charge on daily basis which may facilitate your work appraisal
  • Delegated the authority to put initial/counter signature along with the signed date on each and every document issued from your end
