Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Store Keeper will assist in the daily operations of the store/warehouse, ensuring smooth handling of incoming and outgoing stock, proper storage, and accurate inventory records. This role is critical to maintaining adequate stock levels and supporting internal departments with timely material issuance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods against delivery documents.
Label, tag, and store items in designated locations safely and accurately.
Maintain up-to-date inventory records and assist in stock counts and audits.
Issue materials to departments based on approved requests.
Report stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, or expired items to the Store Keeper/Manager.
Support general housekeeping and ensure orderly storage areas.
Assist in preparing regular stock movement and inventory reports.
Coordinate with procurement and other departments for smooth operations.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

1+ years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, inventory management, or related role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory control practices and record-keeping.
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory software is an advantage.
Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically able to handle stock movement and warehouse duties. Also, delivery of the goods to end user if required.
Driving license is mandatory
