Roles and responsibilities of this job

Reporting To: Managing Director / Operations Manager

Working Requirement:

The employee shall be responsible for both Accounting and Store Management functions and shall ensure proper coordination between financial records and inventory records at all times. This position requires a high level of accuracy, accountability, integrity, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Responsibilities:

Maintain all accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase entries.
Follow up on customer receivables and supplier payments.
Maintain cash, bank, and petty cash records.
Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
Ensure proper filing of financial documents.
Assist in tax, VAT, and audit-related matters.
Prepare monthly accounts and management reports.

Store Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, record, and organize incoming materials, spare parts, and inventory items.
Issue materials against approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when necessary.
Conduct periodic stock verification, inventory counts, and reconciliation.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock items.
Prevent inventory discrepancies, losses, and unauthorized stock movement

General Responsibilities:

Coordinate with sales, service, procurement, and operations departments.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and inventory information.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
Perform other duties assigned by management as required.

Software & System Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain records in TIGG ERP/Management Software.
Create and manage sales invoices, purchase entries, stock transactions, and customer records in TIGG.
Update inventory movements and ensure system stock matches physical stock.
Generate reports from TIGG for accounts, inventory, sales, and management review.
Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely entry of all transactions into the system.
Coordinate with management and other departments for effective utilization of TIGG software.
Troubleshoot basic software-related issues and liaise with software support when required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Studies, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting, inventory management, store management, or a similar role.
Experience in both accounting and inventory control functions will be preferred.
Hands-on experience with TIGG Software will be a significant advantage.
Experience in spare parts, generators, engineering, trading, or technical industries will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in TIGG Software (Accounting, Inventory, Sales & Purchase Modules).
Knowledge of accounting principles and inventory management.
Good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
Experience in spare parts, generator, or engineering-related businesses will be an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy of accounting records.
Accuracy of inventory records.
Timely entry of transactions in TIGG.
Proper stock control and reconciliation.
Timely preparation of reports.
Compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements.

Authority & Accountability:

The employee shall be accountable for the accuracy of financial records, inventory records, and all data entered into TIGG software. Any discrepancy in accounts, inventory, or system records must be reported immediately to management.
