Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our construction and suppliers business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction accounting, ETDS, VAT, tax compliance, financial reporting, and project cost management. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, supporting audits, and providing timely financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and general ledger.
• Prepare and record purchase, sales, payment, and receipt vouchers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Handle ETDS deduction, filing, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and government regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Monitor project-wise expenses and construction costs.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Prepare payroll and statutory deductions.
• Maintain proper financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
