Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping: Accurately maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and expense tracking.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and tax laws. Assist in the preparation for audits and work closely with external auditors.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances between actual results and budgeted amounts.
Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations. Manage tax payments and deadlines to avoid penalties.
Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Expense Management: Review and manage company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and approval for all expenditures.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Having working level knowledge in VAT and TDS return.
Having good skill in MS word, MS Excel, and Powerpoint.
Special licenses or certification may be required.
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
