Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and responsible Senior Accountant to oversee the company's accounting, taxation, and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial management, VAT, taxation, statutory filing, and relevant legal compliance, with the ability to independently manage accounting activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
Manage VAT, TDS, income tax, and other tax-related matters.
Handle timely submission of tax returns, VAT returns, and statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to taxation and legal compliance.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities.
Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Review financial transactions, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
Provide financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to management.
Ensure proper internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of VAT, TDS, income tax, taxation procedures, and statutory filing.
Good understanding of Nepalese financial laws, tax regulations, and legal compliance requirements.
Practical experience in preparing financial statements and handling tax-related documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

Note : Must possess a two-wheeler (motorbike/scooter) with a valid driving license.
