Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team. As our ideal candidate, you are someone with a passion for numbers and strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, creating reports, and monitoring the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record and maintain all daily accounting transactions (sales, purchases, cash, and bank).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable with proper documentation.
  • Prepare vouchers, receipts, invoices, and ledgers for company transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow reports.

2. Client & Candidate Financial Management

  • Maintain candidate payment records (processing fees, deposits, service charges, refunds).
  • Prepare invoices and bills for foreign employers, recruitment agencies, and service partners.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency in candidate and client-related transactions.

3. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Nepal Government financial and tax laws (VAT, TDS, income tax) and Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE) requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist internal and external audits with required documentation.

4. Payroll & Administrative Finance

  • Manage employee payroll, allowances, and deductions.
  • Maintain petty cash and oversee reimbursement procedures.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Support management with budget planning and expense monitoring.
  • Provide financial data and insights for decision-making.
  • Coordinate with recruitment staff to align financial records with candidate processing.
