Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounts and Finance Officer to oversee and manage the company’s financial and accounting operations. This is an urgent requirement for our growing FMCG import business. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Nepalese taxation laws, maintain accurate financial records, and provide strategic financial insights to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage overall accounting and financial operations.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Ensure compliance with Nepalese taxation laws and IRD regulations.
Handle VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff where applicable.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Management or relevant field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Adequate knowledge of Nepalese Taxation as per IRD rules with hands-on accounting experience.
Proficient in Hitech’s Swastik Gold accounting software with thorough knowledge of its functions
Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.

Salary can be negotiated based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
