Job Description

Department: Payroll Department

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to join our Payroll Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute their expertise in accounting while working in a dynamic and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Compiling and updating employee records (Required hired packet).
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (bonus, leaves, etc.)
  • Review payroll reports for correctness and completeness.
  • Oversee payroll transactions including calculations, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Maintain employee data including payroll, timesheet, W4, benefits and other information.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and concerns from employees.
  • Perform wage verification when requested.
  • Process employee timesheets and leaves and other information required for payroll processing.
  • Generate periodic payroll reports to management for review.
  • Daily login bank for monitoring day-to-day payroll transactions and to look after available balance.
  • Assisting account team on tax and payroll reports.
