Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage billing operations, revenue assurance, receivables, accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting for our Internet Service Provider (ISP) business. The role focuses on ensuring accurate billing, minimizing revenue leakage, maintaining healthy cash flow, and supporting overall financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor customer billing and ensure accurate invoicing with zero revenue leakage.
Perform customer and vendor ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain collection efficiency.
Post accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
Calculate and process reseller/distributor commissions.
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Verify vendor invoices and manage payment schedules.
Assist in monthly closing, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
Support tax, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure billing accuracy and revenue assurance.
Maintain internal controls and improve financial processes.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Required Age:Less than 35 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
2+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in ISP or Telecommunications.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables management.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
