Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated Sr. / Jr. Account Officer to join our team for Kathmandu. As an Account Officer, you will play a critical role in managing our accounting processes and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payment of bills and invoices
Coordinate with other departments to collect financial data and create reports
Assist with budget management and forecasting
Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost reduction
Respond to accounting inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation processes
Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in accounting standards
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations as needed

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Offered Salary

Junior Accounts Officer: 25K to 30K
Senior Accounts Officer: 50K to 60K
