Job Description

The Account Officer at National Path Labs and Research Center will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The primary duties include:

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve any inconsistencies in bank statements.

Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Store Management:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and managing purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with the store department to ensure accurate recording and reporting of inventory.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory reports on time.

MIS Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular Management Information System (MIS) reports to assist management in decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance.

Other Duties:

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
