Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Account Manager at NIBL Equity Partners will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting investment accounting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting in financial reporting for the private equity firm.

The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of accounting standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts for NIBL Equity Partners.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Record and reconcile general ledger entries, bank statements, and investment transactions.
Support accounting for equity investments, dividends, capital calls, and exits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure timely compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
Monitor expenses and support internal controls and financial policies.
Assist management with financial analysis and ad-hoc reports as required.

Additions:

Track fund performance, investment valuations, and portfolio-level financial data.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, investor reports, and board presentations.
Monitor capital deployment and ensure proper documentation of investment-related transactions.
Support preparation and filing of tax returns, withholding taxes, and regulatory submissions.
Assist with audit planning, schedules, and responses to audit queries.
Review contracts, agreements, and investment documents from a financial and accounting perspective.
Support treasury activities, including cash management and payment processing.
Assist in maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
Assist in process improvements and automation of accounting and reporting functions.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Minimum Qualification:

Masters’ degree in management and/or professional qualification or semi qualification of ACCA/CA/CPA is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in finance/accounting/ financial reporting with strong knowledge of IFRS/NFRS and Nepalese Taxation. Experience in Private Equity or Nepalese Capital Market is preferred.
