Account & Finance Head

The Maroons Trading Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and competent Account & Finance Head to lead and manage the company’s overall accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, import finance and documentation, costing of imported goods, VAT and tax compliance, financial reporting, and coordination with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of trading business accounting, import transactions, LC, TT, DAP, import costing, taxation, and financial reporting, along with the ability to independently manage the company’s finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s overall accounting and finance operations.
• Handle import finance and documentation, including LC, TT, and DAP transactions.
• Prepare and manage pre-costing and post-costing of imported goods.
• Ensure timely and accurate VAT, tax, and other statutory compliance.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
• Monitor financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and accounting records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting documentation.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and other financial activities.
• Provide financial insights and reports to management to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
