Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wordpress Developer. The Wordpress Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, responsive web design, and web design and development.

Responsibilites:

Design, develop, and implement WordPress-based websites or web applications from scratch or using pre-existing themes and plugins. This involves understanding client requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and creating solutions that meet those requirements.
Customize WordPress themes to match the unique design and branding requirements of clients.
Develop custom WordPress plugins or customize existing plugins to add specific features or functionality to websites.
Optimize website performance by implementing best practices such as code minification, image compression, caching, and server-side optimizations.
Implement security best practices to protect WordPress websites from common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and brute force attacks.
Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, or errors that arise during website development or maintenance.
Work closely with designers, content creators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development.

Qualifications:

Excellent understanding of Web Design Principles
Experience in building and maintaining WordPress websites
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
