Roles and responsibilities of this job

This is a full-time on-site role as a Travel Sales Consultant at Aarya Village Travel P. Ltd. located in Kathmandu. As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients with travel arrangements. You will collaborate with a team of travel professionals to ensure a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for clients.

What you will be doing

Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences and budget
Develop customized itineraries that incorporate flights, hotels, transportation, and activities
Research and recommend destinations, attractions, and experiences aligned with client interests
Secure bookings for flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements
Manage client travel documents and ensure seamless trip logistics
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize travel experiences
Provide ongoing communication and support to clients throughout the booking process
Troubleshoot any travel issues and ensure client satisfaction

What we are looking for

Experience in Travel Consulting, Travel Management, and Travel Arrangements
Excellent Customer Service skills
Experience with Reservations and booking systems
Strong written/verbal communication
Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
Experience in the travel industry preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field
Fluency in English is required
Familiarity with Nepal, Bhutan & and Tibet destinations is a plus

Prior experience (3-5 years) minimum in Travel Industry is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Travel Consulting, Travel Management and Travel Skills
Familiarity with travel booking systems and software
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to multitask and handle multiple client requests simultaneously
Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints or issues
Attention to detail and accuracy in booking travel arrangements
Familiarity with Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan destination is an asset
A passion for travel and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends
