Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Outbound Tour Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outbound tour planning, travel coordination, and airline ticketing, with strong knowledge of international destinations, travel requirements, and booking systems.

The role involves handling tour arrangements from start to finish, assisting clients with travel plans, and managing ticketing activities to ensure a smooth and memorable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and arrange outbound tour packages based on client requirements, budget, and preferences.
Handle flight, hotel, transportation, sightseeing, and other travel arrangements.
Prepare tour itineraries, quotations, and travel packages for clients.
Coordinate with international hotels, airlines, DMCs, and other travel partners.
Provide clients with accurate information regarding destinations, travel requirements, and tour arrangements.
Handle customer inquiries, bookings, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
Manage airline ticket reservations, issuance, re-issuance, cancellation, and refunds.
Check flight availability, fares, schedules, baggage allowances, and applicable rules.
Coordinate with clients and airlines to resolve ticketing or booking-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, tickets, and client documents.
Follow up with clients before and after travel to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Stay updated on airline schedules, international travel trends, destination information, and travel regulations.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in outbound tour operations and/or airline ticketing.
Hands-on experience with international flight reservations and ticketing.
Knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar platforms is preferred.
Good knowledge of international destinations, tour packages, airlines, and travel procedures.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prepare quotations, itineraries, and travel documents accurately.
Strong attention to detail, especially when handling ticketing and client information.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
Good command of written and spoken English.
