Global Action Nepal is dynamic social organization which has been working exclusively in Nepal for more than two decades to help improving the quality of life of marginalized people in Nepal engaging stakeholders meaningfully for quality education, equity, human rights and lifelong learning. GAN is implementing Civil Society Participation in Education (COPE) Project, funded by the European Commission, implement through a consortium led by National Campaign for Education Nepal in partnership with GAN, Nepal Disabled Women Association. The main objective of this project is to unite various stakeholders in addressing issues related to accountability and governance within the education sector. The project is to be implemented in Dhanusha, Siraha and Rautahat districts of Madesh province and Dailekh, Kalikot, Surkhet districts of Karnali province.

Thus, GAN is seeking for pro-active, qualified, self-motivated, dedicated and outcome oriented Project Officer under COPE project.

  • Good knowledge and skills on training management. .
  • Skills and knowledge on communication /feedback skills.
  • Good record of coordination and networking skills with different stakeholders and concerned authorities i.e. District Education Office, Resource Person (RP), and schools to organize and implementation of the events/training. 
  • Good knowledge on financial managementand maintain ofprogramme expenses for settlement of advance and reimbursement as per the financial guidelines.
  • Good skills of budget planning and implementation of planned activities. 
  • Good skills and experience of managing the programme expenditure in accordance with the agreed budget and produce financial updates.
  • Excellent written skills in both Nepali and English. 

Duration: 
6 Months (Nov 17, 2016 to  April 14,2017)

Salary: 
As per the project and organization's rules and regulation
