Level: Manager

Educational Qualification & Experience: Graduate with 4 years of experience and Post graduate with 2 years of experience (Preference will be given for degree on management (accountancy or statistics).

Job Summary:

The In-Charge of the TIMS department is to perform overall supervisory role of the TIMS department; which includes purchase TIMS card from Nepal Tourism Board and manage the stocks of cards, transfer management of the cards to all other sales points, staff management of the department in coordination with Admin/Human Resource department, maintaining and supervising project account and preparation of reports.

Responsibilities:
1. Business Management : Responsible to manage all these business channels and work on the smooth functioning of the business system.
2. HR Management : Responsible to manage all the staffs of the project and evaluate their performance on the given duties and responsibilities. The In-Charge is to recommend and changes required for the best outcomes of the department.
3. Sales Counter/Check Points Management
4. Accounting/Financial Management

  • Report financial information of the project in an accurate and timely manner, prepare and submit financial reports periodically.
  • Manage a variety of fiscal and accounting functions pertaining to areas such as general accounting, accounts payable, auditing, cash management, and financial reporting
  • Develop and Implement financial guidelines, procedures and foal for assigned areas
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal controls for TIMS
  • Supervise the work of subordinates and other assigned staff; assign, direct, monitor and evaluate staff work; plan and coordinate professional development activities; implement corrective action as appropriate.
  • Interface with financial consultants, auditors and government agencies.
  • Complete budget preparation tasks and budget to actual analysis, as directed/assigned
  • Attend meetings, conferences and trainings as required; participate on committees, tasks, task forces and work group as assigned.
  • Oversee the accounting function which includes inter-organization transactions, cash management/reconciliation for multiple accounts, financial reporting and monitoring Financial Management of TIMS
  • Review accounting activities to ensure that a standard level of internal controls and audit procedures and techniques are applied
  • Develop work procedures to provide the necessary controls on the department's assets
  • Ensure the financial reports are prepared in compliance with policies and directives of Tourism Board, granting agencies, funders and laws of Nepal
  • Ensure the completing of Nepal Government tax compliance, reporting requirements, insurance and other governmental regulation
  • Motivate staff to achieve goals through individual and team supervision, coaching, goal setting , training and staff development
  • Review and evaluate subordinates performance
  • Approves leaves of subordinates

5. Data Management
6. Monitoring and Evaluation of check post, counters and staff.
7. Planning and Product Development function.
8. Handling of Complaints of clients and members.
