Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

To support the Research & Investment Team by conducting technical analysis of securities traded in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and assisting in generating research-based market insights in compliance with SEBON regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical analysis of NEPSE-listed securities using approved analytical tools and methodologies
Identify price trends, chart patterns, and key support/resistance levels
Apply technical indicators, including but not limited to: Moving Averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci Retracement, Volume & Momentum Indicators

Assist in the preparation of:

Daily / Weekly Market Reports
Sector-wise technical outlooks
Internal research notes for investment decisions
Support portfolio and trading strategy formulation through technical inputs
Monitor market movements and corporate actions impacting price behavior
Ensure analysis and reporting comply with SEBON, NEPSE, and internal research policies
Coordinate with Research, Dealing, and Compliance teams

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Economics, or related field.
Sound understanding of capital market operations in Nepal
Strong knowledge of technical analysis concepts
Hands-on experience in charting software (TradingView / MetaTrader or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications:

CFA Level I passed/appearing will be an added advantage

Ability to work under market-driven deadlines
Strong report writing and presentation skills
Ethical judgment and regulatory awareness
