On behalf of our client, a pioneering force in Nepal’s manufacturing sector, Executive Search-Merojob is seeking a high-caliber Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is not a traditional accounting role; it is a strategic appointment for a "Process Champion" capable of institutionalizing professional workflows in a high-output environment.

The selected leader will operate at the intersection of financial strategy, industrial operations, and statutory governance, serving as the primary guardian of the company’s public-facing integrity.

Strategic Financial & Capital Leadership

External Authority: Act as the face of the organization to Commercial Banks and the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), managing credit facilities and foreign exchange requirements.
Investor Relations: Lead the financial narrative at Annual General Meetings (AGM) and quarterly briefings, ensuring transparent, data-driven communication with shareholders.
Growth Advisory: Evaluate CAPEX for plant automation and upgrades, ensuring alignment with long-term ROI.

Statutory Governance (Company Secretary)

Regulatory Custodian: Ensure 100% compliance with the Companies Act, 2063, SEBON, and NEPSE listing requirements.
Board Advisory: Organize Board proceedings and provide expert legal counsel on corporate actions and public disclosures.

Operational Excellence & Process Championship

Cross-Functional Synergy: Integrate Finance with Production, Supply Chain, and Sales to optimize Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles.
Systems over Personality: Drive ERP adoption to eliminate individual bias and ensure institutional consistency.

Note: The mentioned salary is the starting salary for this position, not the upper limit.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 15 years

Other Specification

Minimum 15+ years of experience in Finance with at least 5 years in a Manufacturing environment with deep exposure to standard costing and factory overheads
Proven track record in a Public Limited structure, managing share registries and regulatory filings in Nepal
Expert knowledge of NFRS, Nepali Tax Laws (VAT/Income Tax), and the Securities Act
Ability to remain composed during rigorous shareholder scrutiny and provide objective responses to critical feedback
Should give a preference for data-driven influence over intuition
Should be committed to the highest ethical standards in financial reporting
