Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The person will be responsible for supporting laptop programs in 12 public primary schools and facilitating teachers in using technology effectively in the teaching-learning process. The duration of the Residency Program is 8 months, of which 7 months will be based in Jajarkot. Residents will receive basic stipend/salary to support themselves, and will be staying with families in various school communities in Jajarkot

Live and work independently in rural school communities in Jajarkot
Help teachers integrate technology in classrooms through the daily use of digital learning materials
Ensure technology equipment at the schools are in working order so that teachers and students can use them regularly without facing problems
Conduct activities that engage children in learning and inspire them to achieve their goals
Execute pedagogical and technical duties as assigned by the supervisor
Update the main office on a regular basis and submit quarterly reports

Minimum Bachelor’s in a related field (preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or Computer Science)
Willing to live and work in rural communities for extended duration
Fit enough to walk on hilly terrains on a daily basis
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Motivated and enthusiastic about improving public education in Nepal
Must enjoy working with children
